The Victoria Baths in Manchester will be hosting its first ever Fanzine Convention next month as part of the Future Everything festival. Expect a veritable feast of zine stalls, workshops, talks, film screenings and installations.
Taking place on Saturday 14 May, the event will examine the Past, Present and Future of Fanzines, with discussions from the people behind titles including Fever Zine, Vapid Kitten and Debris as well as a screening of fanzine documentary $100 Dollars and a T-shirt.
There will be the chance to create zines on the day, with visitors invited to produce their own response to the opulent Victoria Baths building, as well as vegan catering from Norwich-based bakery Deerly Beloved.
The event will run between 10am and 4pm and admission is free. Stalls cost £10. To arrange a stall, contact Natalie on Natalie.Rose.Bradbury@googlemail.com
