Anne is thirty-five years old, a skating referee and the proud custodian of two cats. She loves New England winters and has a dread of board games. But she does love Apples to Apples, a card game based on completely arbitrary rules. Booty is a comic following Anne’s day-to-day life with subjects ranging from a best friend’s wedding day, coping with crabbiness, and on a very personal (yet highly entertaining) note, the breakdown of a relationship with a man in 1950s office attire complete with briefcase. The signs were all there — he was playing Elton John in the car at eight in the morning. Quirky and spirited throughout.
