Morgenmuffel is a comic following the adventures of Isy and her friends as they hop between DIY events, travelling, volunteering, and producing gigantic vats of vegetable soup. Some of the escapades featured in this issue include the 20th birthday of Fanzinotheque in Poitiers, with its unusually (by zine standards) generous budget — Isy spots vast posters of her comics on display — as well as chaos-ridden climate talks in Copenhagen. Isy also includes longer written pieces, including a reflective essay on the Cowley Club anarchist social centre in Brighton, musing on the perks and pitfalls of being part of a collective. As you’d expect, there are considerably more perks. Great zine, really nice drawings too.
