Tonight at the Old Market Gallery we’ll be hosting the opening night of A Small Cinema In Rotherham, a three day programme of short films and documentaries bringing Rotherham its first cinema in over twenty years.
We’ve also set up the Zine Library at the front of the gallery, along with some comfortable chairs and a piano. The tables are polished, the curtains are draped, the films are set up and ready to go — all that’s left is to go on another popcorn dash. And to figure out how to stop the doom-laden beeping of the ice cream freezer. And find some sort of red ribbon for the Mayor to snip.
Entrance is only 25p, so come down if you’re in the area. More information here.
